It was easy to get lost in this book at the end of the day (and during), and I ended up ruining my sleep schedule because I was so invested in the book. The plot was interesting and paced perfectly. I loved getting to know each of them, and I’m beyond excited for the next book in the series which features one of my favorite characters from this one. I also adored Elliot I usually don’t fall in love with romance characters very easily, let alone from the start, but he was such an intriguing character.īesides Gemma and Elliot, the other characters were also beautifully written as well. It’s always a bit difficult to read a book that has a main character that you can’t relate to. It was easy to connect with Gemma, which I think made the book more enjoyable.
